'Top Model' Curry Fires Back at 'Brady' Mom

Adrianne Curry shot back through her rep about Florence Henderson's criticism earlier this week at the Television Critic's Association press tour in Beverly Hills, Calif. Henderson suggested that Knight was essentially forced to get engaged to Curry after the couple met on VH1's "The Surreal Life," and subsequently married her on two spinoffs. A statement sent to Fancast.com by her publicist reads:"For Florence Henderson to use the Television Critic's Association as a platform devoted only to disrespecting another individual who is completely unrelated to the Television movie she was supposed to be promoting is grossly unprofessional, irresponsible and immature. Ms. Henderson has been in this business a long time and should know better by now. Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry never asked Florence Henderson (an actress) for counseling. Ms. Henderson doesn't personally know Adrianne Curry so she has no basis in which to publicly voice inaccurate and hurtful judgmental opinions about Ms Curry or Knight's decision to marry her.
"For the record; Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry enjoy a solid healthy relationship in a happy marriage."

I personally do not know Miss Curry, but a person can still get an idea of what a person is like by watching them even in a "unreality" tv show.On that show, and her public appearances she comes across as a mean, thoughtless, drunk **bleep**. If that is how she wants to show herself, then she and her family must be so proud.

I saw the surreal life with Christopher Knight and now-wife, I guess. This won't last but another 18-months, tops, if that long. Strange thing is, and it truly escapes me, but why didn't anyone make comments about the birdlegs Chris has? I was being too nice in my previous post, but now I'll dish the dirt on Curry. I gatherered from watching only two episodes, this woman was the "Laura Petrie" type. Yes, people, I said "type" so what of it? In any event, Curry came across as constantly nagging, whining, and henpecking Chris to no end. However, I'll be fair about this and also say that Chris deserves this type of treatment for thinking he is "so it" in his own mind. Knight and Curry asked Henderson to counsel them during their pre-marriage relationship. That makes Henderson an insider and free to comment (assuming nothing personal is revealed). I think it interesting that only Curry is commenting. Knight is silent. That situation makes me think Henderson is right about the relationship. Chris Knight looks better than he EVER has! Adrianne Curry is obviously the reason. I have never seen two people more in love and watching them fall for each other and get married in front of eyes was such a romantic treat. Especially because they make it look like work=real life. Anyone can see that Knight would be the last person on earth who could ever be forced to do ANYTHING!To me, Adrianne is the only America's Next Top Model.
She was treated unfairly (and still is, IMHOP) by ANTM and Tyra Banks. Any success she has had since that show has been entirely of her own making. My only criticism of Adrianne is her potty mouth!
If Knight is even HALF as happy as he appears to be-Henderson should suck it up and be happy for him.
Yes, they both have 'issues' but at least they seem to be working on them-and who doesn't?

I think Knight isnt responding out of respect to Henderson. Curry, well, she is in the right to say that platform wasn't appropriate to air Henderson's personal thoughts of the couple. Instead of saying "Invite me to the divorce" Henderson could of been more supportive of Knight and Curry by wishing them the best of luck. Hasn't anyone noticed that this girl is not very stable? She constantly flies off on immature rampages if things don't go her way. I do believe that this marriage will spiral out of control. He's got to feel like he's raising a spoiled brat daughter instead of sharing his life with a wife. MyMusing- First of all Knight and Curry did NOT ask Henderson for marital advice before they got hitched. KNIGHT asked her for some advice but Adrienne certainly did NOT! Second of all- asking for marital advice and talking trash about that persons marriage are two entirely different things. She met Adrienne for all of a few minutes(during which lil Ms. thing basically tried to tell Knight to forget about Adrienne) and Adrienne didn't like her right off the bat and neither did I. She is one judgemental woman and also thinks she is very high and mighty society. When she had her season of Surreal Life she was too good to even sleep in the house with everyone else. She just showed up barely in time for whatever challenge was happening that day and she left as soon after as she could. She acted too good to learn anything about her cast mates or befriend them. I don't know why she did that show when she was so halfazzed about it. I also thought her "appearance" at the end of the season(where she told everyone what their "problem" was or in which way people were "damaged" and needed help was beyond sick. She made all those "evaluations" of those people just off of how little she knew them. People like her are all the same. They judge, the asses, and they feel superior and that is OBVIOUSLY what Henderson has done and will continue to do. She thinks her crap don't stink and she walks around letting you KNOW she feels that way. I think the arrogant and very rude woman should go F off! I have lost ALL respect for her. If she wants to be the therapist that she claims to be then she needs to know one thing: Being a good therapist is NOT thinking of peoples bad traits or ASSUMED bad traits(as Henderson does) and then making snide comments based on what you THINK you personally know. You're supposed to help the person-not look down on them.Lastly- Knight not responding does NOT mean that Henderson is correct. She's his friend(with friends like that...............) so I am sure that he didn't want to publicly attack her-which was wimpy on his part He should stand up for his marriage but we don't wanna make Ms. Holier Than Thou mad or else she would tear him a new one since she IS such a judgmental witch! Adrienne said enough so I'm sure Knight didn't need to add to it. Knight's probably more hurt than anything and that's probably a huge part of why he didn't publicly respond. Hey Flo Henderson: You suck! Both as a "Therapist" AND as a HUMAN BEING!

BrassTacks- You are as judgmental as Henderson. How in the hell do YOU of all people know when their marriage will or will not end? Are you in their bed at night? Do you hear their conversations? Do you know if they fight a lot or if they don't? Do you know if either one feels relief when they can finally get away from the other? No, YOU DO NOT! And even IF you did-would you feel better about yourself? Proud and Happy that they didn't make it and that they're in pain and are sad because they are splitting up? I don't think Knight feels like he is raising a "Spoiled Brat Daughter" as "HEBBY" puts it. I don't think he would have married her if he thought she was like that. He took his time deciding and waited til he KNEW this was the right woman for him. I don't thinks she's a spoiled brat. I think she's strong, assertive and knows what she wants and isn't going to tolerate being screwed over, or being given what she doesn't want and just not saying anything. In this world you HAVE TO say what you want and not accept any halfazzed substitutes or people not doing their jobs right and giving her crappy service. She knows that people deserve to get what they want or ask for and not be timid to just accept what is being given to you. For example: She shouldn't go to McDonalds and order a Big Mac without lettuce, then get the Big Mac and it has lettuce on it and she not say anything and just start picking off the pieces of lettuce. After seeing Ms. Curry and her family on the show I think that they are all a bunch of knuckle dragging, in-bred, uneducated, trailer park trash. I think Christopher Knight is a foolish, dirty old man trying to hang on to his youth. What kind of trash gives oral sex on tv knowing the world is watching and then complains that he peed in her mouth? Now that's the kind of roll model that ANTM wants to project to the world! OMG! Florence Henderson WAS ASKED the question by a reporter at the event. SHE did not bring it up first. Florence has been a mother figure to Chris for many, many years...and just as a parent may be disappointed with the choice of a mate that their child makes, Florence feels that same dispapointment. It is only her opinion, people! Free country--free speach. Chris DID ask Florence to meet Adrianne and council him on his decision of whether or not to "take the next step" with her. Florence DID meet Adrianne, so she does, in fact know her...maybe not intimately, but she knows her, and certainly knows her through the eyes of Chris. I have no doubt that Chris loves Adrianne, but--as we all know, it takes more than love alone to make a relationship work.As for the reply by Adrianne's rep, I thought it sounded very childish...not the words of a seasoned professional. Adrianne, honey--if I were you I'd start shopping for a new rep.

I watched the surreal life and adrienne seems to be a little off her rocker. During one of the episodes Florence came over to their house to talk to chris and I believe she met adrienne too.
