What won't Jose Canseco do for a dime? The former MLB slugger turned celebrity boxer could relish nothing more than a date inside the ring with Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, according to a report in the New York Post.
At Thursday's weigh-in for his upcoming bout against Todd Poulton in Massachusetts, Canseco was asked which current player he most would like to fight?
Jose's response: “Who I would love to fight the most, if I could pick a baseball player? Alex Rodriguez, get your [butt] in the ring, I’ll beat you to a pulp. That lying little idiot, I’d like to get him in the ring.”
Talk about calling the kettle black.
Canseco's celebrity boxing stint has been a pleasure to watch. But he should steer clear of any MMA events close to him.
If skills make the meals, our money's on A-Rod.

Canseco, it's really time to get a life..Okay,so A-Rod was trying to put the "make" on your ex-wife and yes you were right about the steroids in your booked..Bastante..If you have a grudge against A-Rod after all these years, you need therapy.. Had A-Rod wanted your ex-wife,she'd be with him..You have no relevancy in baseball today,so shut-up..

Don't be fooled by canseco's muscles. I saw one of his celebrity bouts and he fought worse than any novice I've ever seen. He lost to one of those Brady actors or someone like that. He was very bad. In a "perfect world" we wouldn't be talking about this. But for poops and giggles, it might be fun to watch A-Rod drop him. Seriously though, Canseco is walking on thin ice with me. There was a time I respected him for "coming out." But he needs to button his mouth.
