Florida Gators star linebacker Brandon Spikes has some explaining to do.
Television cameras caught Spikes forcing his hand into Georgia running back Washaun Ealey’s face mask following a tackle during Saturday’s showdown in Jacksonville.
When asked about Spikes’ play on Sunday, Florida coach Urban Meyer responded: “I’ll talk to him today. [He is] a very emotional player, and if that’s the case, I’ll have a very serious talk with him.”
Emotional? Hardly. And here we thought defensive captains were supposed to lead by example…
Your Feedback What sort of punishment should Brandon Spikes receive? Sound off here. |

So one of the Tebow apostles got caught doing this?It will mean nothing to anyone, as Tebow and his desciples can do no wrong. I am sure they will have a prayer session and ask for devine intervention.Mon, 02 Nov 2009 18:37:12 GMT | cigarguy

I think he should be made to wear a muzzle and 24 ounce boxing gloves for the next game and possibly an anti-chew collar. Kinda makes LaGarrett Blounts punch look tame. By the way; where's the big time news coverage that Blount got?Tue, 03 Nov 2009 15:33:23 GMT | drtyrotns0b
