B-Hop Rips McNabb ((((Again) Again) Again) Again)

In case you're unawares, Bernard Hopkins is no fan of Donovan McNabb. And he's making it known (again) that you'll see LC and Heidi move back in together before he gives any love to the Eagles QB. Philly.com's Sheil Kapadia reports that Hopkins fell back on his favorite verbal crutch -- ripping Donovan -- on 610 WIP yesterday.
"I think he plays for the moment, whether it's winning or losing," Hopkins said. "I think he plays to win, but I don't think his demeanor and I don't think his personality fits to win tomorrow, to win the next week and to win with any means necessary. There's a difference than wanting to win and showing that you want to win. I think that most athletes go in the ring or in the court, basketball or football, go in there with the intentions of winning until something is different that they feel that they don't want to deal with, understand or just be in the mix. Some people just want to be in the mix, Howard. And if they get lucky and be like 'Oh I can win this' then they'll go ahead and they'll show their swagger. But at the end of the day, you got frontrunners and you got runners, and he's one of the greatest frontrunners I've ever seen in the NFL."Hopkins then predicted the Eagles would go 7-9 this season, laying the blame on No. 5.
"He don't have the heart," he said of McNabb. "He don't want to fail so he don't want to try."

The "B" hit the nail on the head. He is right. I also agree with his season outcome, 7 & 9.More importantly folks, stay home. If the owner starts losing money maybe he'll invest some.

Playing in Superbowl and NFC championship games aren't enough for some people. He is wrong for his comments. It's not Mcnabb's fault they couldn't stop Fitzgerald in the championship game. B-Hop is just clueless. He wouldnt know " Heart " if it fell out of the sky and sat on his face. What he seems to not understand is not winning a title has nothing to do with lack of heart. Did McNabb have any heart when he threw 4 touchdowns while playing 3 plus quarters with a broken ankle??? I wonder how Hopkins would have done if he stepped into the ring with a broken arm. I'm not even sure why I read half the junk posted here. "BHOP" (sounds like a borrowed monicker) is a great champ. Stay with boxing, you'll actually sound like you know something! McNabb has no skilz what so ever...You think that since he made it to the Superbowl one time he's good but he has no steam left.. I think once the owner realizes that McNabb is done they should just let that guy go. We will never win with him... Go B-Hop... i think it's you ppl that don't know football. B-hop is definitely right. Mcnabb rarely shows up in the big games and if you ppl realized that we'd be ok. This constant crap about going to championship games and 1 supe is disgraceful to those of us that know that all he's done is get us there then fail. This is a business and if i failed as much as Don i would be fired. He makes boneheaded plays at the worst times and is reluctant to use all his skills even at this late time in his career. He never learns from his mistakes and thats a sign of being dumb as well as heartless. He spends way too much time smiling and lol then he does focusing on the game. he thinks its time for friends when its time for work. I blame most of what happens on him because he's the highest paid guy and the team leader. leaders always get blamed so figure it out. as for the Larry Fitz. comment, he should have scored way more points on a crap defense and threw that last pass to Curtis in stride instead of his usual behind the player throw. I'm praying he gets hurt so Kolb can come in and show us what a qb should do. one thing Reid knows is how to groom a qb and Kolb is more than ready to step in and up. we addressed every single need in the offseason so to those that think we didn't, go root for the over hyped COWGIRLS. prediction, if healthy, 12-4, rematch with the Pats and we win this time, if Mcnabb can keep his food down. see just another sad Mcnabb story, throwing up during the biggest drive of his life,LOSER.Thu, 25 Jun 2009 19:18:51 GMT | Zman69

Every time someone speaks the truth, haters have to come out and defend the person the truth is being spoken about! Hopkins is speaking the truth! Have you ever seen a starting QB get benched and doesnt care?! Never! Everybody is talking about his stats,OK where has his stats gotten him? A superbowl where HE partied to much and was hung over the next day and had a teammate who had his leg broken what three weeks earlier, come out and show out while he resorted to throwing up on the sideline and then gets mad when he is called out on it! Whats funny is the fact that Bhop is a boxer, which is a one on one competition. And he comments on a sport that has a whole team to do with winning/losing. Heartless? I guess playing football on a broken ankle means nothing.. I guess training in the offseason in his own time means nothing... I guess putting up with the media and all the **bleep** on here thinking they know him means nothing. And Kolb??? Really? I guess you didn't see how he faired when Don got benched (which someone said he didn't care, when in fact he called a meeting with Reid to express how unhappy he was about it). Reid didn't put Don back in the next game because he felt bad, he did it because Kolb blew more than a pornstar. I dread the day Kolb takes over. What happen when we had a (idiot) top receiver? We went to the Super Bowl as underdogs to the Pats and only lost by 3.
