Roma advances to Italian Cup final

CATANIA, Sicily (AP) — AS Roma advanced to its fourth straight Italian Cup final, tying Catania 1-1 Thursday night to advance on 2-1 aggregate in their home-and-home series.
Roma will play Internazionale of Milan, which eliminated Lazio on Wednesday. Inter won the cup in 2005 and 2006, and Roma defeated Inter last year.
Alberto Aquilani put Roma ahead when he converted a penalty kick in the 27th minute, but Cristian Silvestri headed in a free kick two minutes later.

MADRID, Spain (AP) - Sergio Aguero and Diego Forlan scored first-half goals to lead Atletico Madrid over Espanyol 2-0 in the Spanish league.
Atletico (18-11-7) has 61 points and is in fourth place with two matches remaining. Barcelona (18-8-10) is third with 64, while Sevilla (18-14-4) is fifth with 58. The top four teams qualify for next season's European Champions League.
