3. Chris Daughtry
First, there was Bo. Later, there was David Cook. But in between was Chris Daughtry, who carried the rocker torch that Bo handed him and passed it along to Cook. Daughtry's legitimate success as a pop rocker after the show likely helped fueled Cook's rise to the title in Season 7.
