10. Don’t Idle
Some experts suggest that if you’re making a stop that will last longer than 60 seconds, you should turn off your engine. The jury is still out on this one, but many say that it takes a set amount of fuel to start your engine while it takes a greater amount of fuel to keep it running over an extended period of time.
