Rip Torn Actor Rip Torn pleaded not guilty to drunk driving charges on January 5th, 2009 relating to a December 2008 incident. Torn was pulled over by a Connecticut state trooper while driving in the breakdown lane with a Christmas tree tied to the top of his car and arrested after failing a field sobriety test. Torn pleaded guilty to similar charges in 2007 and lost his license to drive in New York state. This mugshot is from that arrest.
