Canada's Lamaze wins jumping gold

HONG KONG (AP) Eric Lamaze of Canada rode Hickstead to the individual gold medal in Olympic equestrian jumping on Thursday, winning a timed jump-off over Rolf-Goran Bengtsson of Sweden, who took silver on Ninja.
U.S. rider Beezie Madden, riding Authentic, beat six other riders in another timed jump-off for the bronze.
Earlier in the week, the U.S. team won gold in team jumping and Canada won the silver.
