Jennifer Hudson Pregnant

Anyone who saw Jennifer Hudson perform at Michael Jackson's memorial service could tell that she's expecting a baby in the very near future, as confirmed by an NJ.com report. The father is her boyfriend David Otunga, who she started dating last year. This comes as a bit of good news for Hudson, who has had a very difficult year, suffering the loss of her mother, brother and nephew last October.

Dear Jennifer: You rocked the house yesterday at the Memorial. I watched it on BET and girl, can you sing!!! Michael would have been proud of everyone who performed for him. Congratulations and may your marriage be everything you want! God bless you and keep pressing forward.Wed, 08 Jul 2009 16:19:41 GMT | chana51

I didn't know marriage was a requirement for having a baby. I understand the importance of course and the moral value. However, she is pregnant and her fans should lift her up not put her down. Also, it is how she handles things from this point forward, no backtracking on pregnancies...you either are or you are not.Wed, 08 Jul 2009 16:33:40 GMT | cuntrygal

She has been engaged since well before she was pregnant. Even if she hadn't sex before marriage is the same whether you get pregnant or not. Sex is sex. Are you a virgin bride/groom?Wed, 08 Jul 2009 16:45:16 GMT | CNG281

Congratulations, Jennifer! I'm praying that the baby is born healthy, happy and will receive all the love and care that the both of you as parents will lavish upon him/her! After the horrible tragedies you've experienced this past year...I hope this bundle of joy forthcoming will help to energize and delight you. God Bless!Wed, 08 Jul 2009 16:56:49 GMT | SpiritedOne

Well "commonsensedude",should she have had an abortion because she's not married to her fiance yet by your set of standards?

CommonsenseDUD - oh, DUDE - so sorry;)'Judge not lest ye be judged'
WHY does she have to be married? She is a good person - I don't have to know her to know that - and she will make a great mom. How many MARRIED women out there have children that can't even take care of themselves? Hooked on drugs and or alcohol? Live in violence? Kill their offspring? Abuse their offspring? She is fine, let her alone. After the year she has had I seriously doubt she gives a rats a** what anyone thinks of her out of wedlock pregnancy. Congrats to Jen.

commonsensedue-Why does one need to be married before becoming pregnant???
Get in the real world...
it is NOT a requirement, some people choose to do it that way, but it will not make you a better/worse parent by being married 1st...

If you're following her career you wouldn't make comments on things you know nothing about. she was getting married before her family was slain, and then she put the wedding on hold. I'm happy for her i'm sure she's still getting married. "NO INFO DUDE""Wed, 08 Jul 2009 17:05:25 GMT | surething0075

The bible warns against fornication, which is defined as sex BEFORE marriage. She may be a good person, but anyone who get pregnant before marriage is going against what the bible says, there's no argument with that unless you just use the parts of the bible you want to use and then throw away the parts you don't like.Wed, 08 Jul 2009 17:28:39 GMT | 1Timothy316

Since Jennifer Hudson publicly acknowledges being a Christian, and I am a Christian, I have the right to make this comment. Contrary to the world's opinion, sex was designed for marriage between a husband and a wife. Yes, we all make mistakes. However, we hold a standard of holiness, and should always make sure that we do not send the wrong message that our mistakes or sins are okay. When you are in the public's eye, unfortunately people expect more from you and forget that you are human. She has the opportunity to affect so many people be it good or bad. We need to pray for her and all other celebrities, because they experience the same temptations that we do and then some. Thank God for repentance!Wed, 08 Jul 2009 17:39:08 GMT | 629
