Simpson's Sudsy Stampede

She's certainly come a long way from her days as a gospel singer on the Christian music circuit.
Jessica Simpson is now shilling beer – well, light beer, but still – for Texas-based brewer Stampede.
Simpson will appear in ads for Stampede Light Plus, an alcoholic beverage that invites drinkers to "Be smart, drink smart." Clearly, everybody's favorite Chicken of the Sea fan is the obvious choice to represent a smart drinker. Here's the ad:
The ad copy reads: "I work out and I take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while. That's why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Stampede Light, it's beer plus." Plus what remains a mystery.
Simpson, ever the career girl, has a 15 percent stake in the company.

She can't sing, she can't act, but she became famous by marrying Nick Lachey. Nothing is happening for her ever since her divorce, but then she gets these guys who helps her being famous again. There's just something terribly wrong and very deceiving about Jessica Simpson's picture and the word "smart" together on the same page…lol. The two go together like oil and water...lol... Obviously sex sells and this ad is simply to entice the really stupid men...lol. If I were a Dallas Cowboys fan, and thank God I’m not, I would boycott Tony (**bleep**) Romo for associating himself with that idiot !!! The unwarranted attacks in here on Jessica Simpson obviously come from bitter , jealous people. No Nick didn't make her famous. Jessica was making her own music and putting out CD's before he came along. As far as looks, I'm sure she would put most of the bitter women who write these comments in here to shame. I will definitely stay away from Stampede. All alcohol kills brain cells but the thought of drinking Jessica's beer frightens me horribly. I have this horrifying thought that drinking her beer would eat away all brain activity.And the fact that she's such an untalented famous person who's father is in love with her; makes me the most horrified of all.
