Since splitting with Tony Romo in July, 29-year-old Jessica Simpson has been spending time on herself and shying away from all things men.

But in an exclusive interview with “Extra” on Friday, Jess will dish on her perfect guy. She hasn’t found him yet, however after failed relationships with a boy-band singer, an NFL quarterback and a womanizing guitarist we’ll get some insight as to what Simpson craves in her next mate.




“I definitely love a spiritual man -- somebody that is going to always inspire me," Jess tells “Extra.”

Spirituality, however, isn’t the only requirement for the next Mr. Simpson. She goes on to say, "I love artistic men -- somebody that really understands their art."

Not so fast. Just because you’re a spiritual and artsy dude doesn’t mean you’re the one for Jess either. You’ve got to keep her entertained too!

"I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men,” she reveals. “People that will always keep me intrigued."




Jess had been spotted with Hollywood heartthrob Gerard Butler recently, but romance rumors have been squashed. Just friends, they say.

Well, if the henna tattoo Jess got while filming her new VH1 show “The Price of Beauty” in Mumbai, India, is any indication of her feelings, she may be ready to love again.

Her spokesperson lends some insight as to the telling meaning of Jess’ new body art:

“They're worn at wedding ceremonies, and are supposed to bring good luck to eligible single women in India.”
