If you want to add just a few key pieces to your wardrobe this season, which ones should they be? Our favorite celebrities help us count down the top must haves for fall and tell us where to get them. Check it out:
#1 Thigh-high boots
These are easier to pull off than you think. You can vamp it up the way Fergie, Victoria Beckham, Kelly Bensimon and Shakira have by pairing them with a sexy dress. Or, you can dress them down with jeans. My picks are from DSW for $89.99. Not a bad price considering Heidi spent nearly two thousand for hers!
#2 Animal prints
"Melrose Place" vixen, Katie Cassidy, is all about leopard this season. So are Kim Kardashian, Michelle Trachtenberg and Rachel Bilson. We tagged and Lily Allen in an adorable animal print sweater. I found a very similar looking cardigan for $44 at Kohl's.
#3 Cropped leather jackets
Super chic "90210" girl, Jessica Lowndes, confesses that a cropped leather jacket is number one on her shopping list. Ashlee Simpson loves a black, zipper-less style and Rachel Weisz recently wore a pink leather version with some serious shoulders. I love the brown bomber I found at Macy’s, priced nicely under fifty dollars.
#4 Shiny blazers
Yes, the wool blazer is a fall classic. But how about adding a little shimmer? Whitney Port, designer and star of "The City", loves her own satin design. We spotted Gwyneth Paltrow in a shiny, white tuxedo cut and adorable Amanda Seyfried in navy. My gun-metal gray blazer from Forever 21 is a perfect day-to-night find for $28.80
#5 Flirty, printed dresses
These are my personal pick. There are so many gorgeous patterns out there. Diane Kruger and Joy Bryant seem to prefer delicate florals. Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana look stunning in abstract black and white. I love the Bohemian, deep burgundy dress I found at American Rag for under $50. Just add tights and boots and it's a fall staple.
