The First Lady and The Godfather?

Former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and screen legend Marlon Brando shared two nights of passion way back in 1964, according to the New York Post's Page Six.

The source of the information is a new book "Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story" from author C. David Heymann, to be published next month, which claims that the First Lady and her brother-in-law, Robert F. Kennedy had an affair after her husband President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Heymann says he got his hands on an excerpt from the first draft of Marlon Brando's 1994 autobiography "Songs My Mother Taught Me," which details the affair. (The account was eventually excised from Brando's book and was never published.)

Page Six includes a passage that Brando allegedly wrote:
"From all I'd read and heard about her, Jacqueline Kennedy seemed coquettish and sensual but not particularly sexual. If anything, I pictured her as more voyeur than player. But that wasn't the case. She kept waiting for me to try to get her into bed. When I failed to make a move, she took matters into her own hands and popped the magic question. 'Would you like to spend the night?' And I said, 'I thought you'd never ask."

I would like to believe that Bobby and Jackie wouldn't sleep together before I would care about Marlon and her.

You can never say Jackie and the Kennedys weren't an interesting clan! I guess we'll never stop gossiping about them. Who knows what's true anymore but some very quirky relationships keep popping up. Carol

Not much is said when the Kennedy men are womanizing but let one Jackie story slip and the whole world believes it.

Wow. Must be a really slow news month when we start digging out crap like this. And worthwhile book material must be at a shortage. I wonder how the author would feel about his life being put under this kind of scrutiny years after his passing, ruining any legacy he may have ever had. Jackie was a beautiful First Lady and a courageous, intelligent woman, Bobby was a hero of his time, and Brando was an awesome actor. That's it people. That's all we should need to know. Shame on us for reading this garbage and giving it any venue at all.

If she slept with Marlon, more power to her! He was HOT in his younger days. If its not true neither one are here to defend themselves so the media needs to let sleeping dogs lie and let them rest in piece.

Pathetic and shameful! Not the alleged affair...the fact that we're talking 50 years ago and some psuedo "journalist" has nothing better to drudge up for subject matter. Convenient also since no one can defend themself. A cheap shot whether it is true or not. Has your cheap report enlightened the masses or made a contribution of any significance with all the issue we face today? Who Cares?! Feel good about yourself on how you have helped humankind with this cheap drivel.

I think it is really in bad taste to come up with these stories, true or untrue, when the individuals involved are no longer here to confirm or deny. If indeed Jackie made the statement, was it in ernest or in jest? Does anyone know for sure. Who is alive today to verify she indeed said that. Was it a figment of Marlon's wish that she be wit him? LIKE WHO IS TO SAY???

Let the dead people alone! Give them the respect they deserve. The paparazzi chases them to death when they are alive. Now they are gone ans should be given respect. They're not here to defend themselves and who cares at this point anyway? Information like that should be on a "need to know" basis and none of us NEED TO KNOW! It's a pitiful human being that writes either truths or untruths that smear the reputations of people who can't defend themselves. Think of the impact crap like this will have on their living families. Disgusting!!!

Preposterous! He was in love with Wally Cox. Everyone in Hollywood knew that. What some people will write just to sell books. Unfortunately, the dead cannot defend themselves.
