Just like every other year, Hollywood was full of marriages, splits, shockers and scandals…and even managed to eke out a few movies, TV shows and albums in between. But if anything made 2008 stand out from the others, it was the celebrity baby boom.

From the breathless anticipation of the arrival of the Brangelina Babies to the surprise announcement of Clay Aiken's son, stars were procreating like it was going out of style (Who knows? Next year it just might.)

We've put together our selections for the Top Babies of '08, plus a whole slew of other year-end lists. Click on the links below to take a look back at the big events in entertainment in 2008 – who was born, who died, who made the best and worst albums and the best and worst movies, who shocked the world with their wacky behavior and who used up their 15 minutes of fame.

i personally believe lil wayne, a.k.a. "weezy -f- baby", a.k.a. "mr. carter" a.k.a. "featuring lil wayne" should have been on the list for best music for 2008

Clay Aiken? Please! We all knew he was gay. No surprise there. His child has no business being in the top 8. Maybe the bottom 8. Who cares about Clay Aiken now a days? He's a "has been" and lets leave him there. Lets stick to babies that are likely to make an impression on people.
