Hugh Hefner Sued
TMZ reports a Playboy shareholder has sued 83-year-old founder Hugh Hefner, claiming he has allowed the company to collapse and refuses to give up his position and the benefits that come with it."Hefner has continued to live the good life and make sure everyone knows it,” the suit said. “Hefner remains in the limelight, showing up at media events and at the Playboy Mansion ... with his girlfriends by his side."
The suit alleges that Hefner has sabotaged two potential deals in the last six months to sell the company at a decent price.
Another monetary issue highlighted in the suit is the price of the glossy, $5.99 per issue, in relation to company’s worth.
"Today, the price of a Playboy magazine is far higher than the price of Playboy common stock," according to the paperwork filed in conjunction with the lawsuit.
The plaintiff is seeking unspecified damages.

Jessica Alba Denies Hubby Cheated with Lohan
Jessica Alba married movie producer Cash Warren in May 2008. Their daughter Honor Marie was born one month later. Not too long after becoming a wife and a mother, rumors about Alba’s marriage being not-so-perfect began to leak and were reported by several tabloids.In early December 2009, Us Weekly reported that Lindsay Lohan shared a kiss with Jessica’s husband Cash.
“It was raw,” a witness told the magazine. “They were not shy.”
Jessica finally extinguishes the cheating rumors in the March issue of British Cosmopolitan magazine, via Popcrunch.com, and admits that she would let these fabrications get to her much more in the past.
“Now, it’s like, it’s just so ridiculous and it’s not even close to being the truth,” she tells the U.K. mag.
Alba even goes so far as to say Lohan is “really nice” and that the two of them are friends.
“We hang out and chat for hours about girl stuff,” Alba says.
Jessica and Lindsay will co-star in the upcoming thriller, “Machete.” Be sure to look for residual on-screen tension.

Sinbad Selling Home After Filing for Bankruptcy
Back in December The Detroit News reported 53-year-old comedian/actor Sinbad was having trouble with his finances and owed more than $8.15 million in delinquent federal taxes.According to the blog, the U.S. Attorney General's office was seeking the sale of his plush California pad to settle up some of the massive debt. Well, looks like they got their wish.
On Friday the L.A. Times Hot Property section spilled details about the sale of that very home. The property in gated Hidden Hills has all of the amenities you’d expect of a celebrity residence.
For a mere $3 million, anyone can be the proud owner of:
"...the five-bedroom, five-bathroom country estate, which sits on a hilltop amid mature trees on 2.5 acres. There are fireplaces in the formal dining room and an office/family room, 5,064 square feet of living space, a guesthouse with a kitchen, a recording studio, a pool with waterfalls and a barn.”
Public records show Sinbad purchased the property in 2007 for $1,525,000 which means the actor is looking at a nice profit from the sale, But hey, the guy needs to make some money off the deal.

Reese’s Mystery Man Revealed
Just two short months after ending her seemingly adorable relationship with fellow actor Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon has been spotted gallivanting around Santa Monica with a new man.People.com reports she enjoyed an intimate dinner at Italian restaurant Locanda Portofino with Jim Toth, a handsome agent at Hollywood's powerful Creative Artists Agency with a reputation for being a ladies’ man.
After nestling into a corner table, the pair "were very flirtatious throughout dinner," dished a fellow diner. "They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner. Reese seemed very happy. She was smiling all dinner. The mood was upbeat and really good."
According to the onlooker, Reese and Jim dined for almost two hours and went their separate ways around 11 p.m. It’s worth noting that chivalry is still alive and well in Hollywood. Toth proved it by picking up the tab.
"Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug," said the onlooker. "They kissed bye on the cheek – but it was a very friendly goodbye."
So…was it actually a date or simply a business meeting? A source close to Witherspoon insists the evening out was strictly business as she is a client of Toth’s agency, CAA. His side has a different story to tell.
A friend of Toth's reportedly said the dinner with newly single Reese was "a date," though "nothing serious.”
Looks like time will tell in the case of the rebound bad boy.

Leif Garrett Arrested
TMZ reports former teen idol Leif Garrett was arrested on Monday morning on suspicion of drug possession.Police on patrol at the L.A. Metrolink train station spotted Garrett behaving suspiciously, according to a Sheriff's spokesperson. Upon searching him they found unspecified controlled substances and took him into custody. Leif posted bond Wednesday morning and was released after spending two nights in jail.
Garrett has a long history with drugs. In 1979, three days before his 18th birthday, he crashed his car while drunk and under the influence of Quaaludes. He’s been arrested several times and coincidentally was arrested at the same Metro in L.A. back in 2006. After hopping on the train without a ticket, police discovered he had heroin and Quaaludes in his possession.
He is due to appear in court on Feb. 24.
